print and designWe are Print and Design Specialists

At Southport Printing Co., we have recently expanded our factory and are now printing and designing many more products on site. This expansion not only means that we can turn jobs around quickly, it means that you will receive your printing at a great price.

The expansion has resulted in increasing our staff pool by over 20% and employing a number of both part time and full time local Gold Coasters. Staff numbers have increased in the design, bindery and sign and display divisions. While in-house designers are not new to us, having additional members in this team means that we are available to assist with any graphic design work in a timely manner. The bindery team’s expansion has resulted in faster turnaround times whilst maintaining our trademark quality control. The sign and display division has specialised local staff to ensure that we are able to offer the best advice to our customers to cater for their specific needs.

Our total factory space has doubled in size to house the new sign and display equipment and various additional machines that have been added to our fleet. The new sign and display area make up 50% of the total factory area.

While our traditional factory areas with digital and offset printing machines continue to be busy, we are now printing a wide variety of sign and display products including wall wraps, floor wraps, stickers, POS collateral and all kinds of signs for all kinds of businesses in our new sign and display area.

What does this mean for our customers?

This is fantastic news for all our existing and new customers! Our expanded print and design capacity allows us to take on complete projects all in-house! Our clients work with a dedicated sales manager who oversees all projects from the initial consultation right through to the delivery and installation (if required) of the final products.

Case Study

printing services gold coast stand corflute

A local Gold Coast coffee shop was recently rebranded. This was a large project; not only did the brand require a makeover, there were many elements to be considered including:

  • Flyers and sales kits
  • Price lists
  • POS signage
  • Stationery; letterheads, with comps slips, envelopes and business cards
  • Shop signage
  • Vehicle signage
  • Promotional materials including pens
  • Website and social media banners

The initial meeting included a site inspection to give our team the opportunity to measure and quote on all the elements of the job. During this meeting, our sales manager talked through the owners’ ideas for a rebrand.

From here, our sales manager worked on quotes and presented them back to the client. Upon approval, one of our creative designers was briefed and he delivered three visual mock-ups for the franchisee to review. These mock-up boards included visuals of each application of the proposed brand. Once a decision was made on the new branding, our team went into full production mode to deliver each element.

Delivery of all of the jobs was completed in less than six weeks from when the new brand was approved.

This major brand overhaul required just three meetings from the company owner and our team managed the rest of this enormous project!

‘The idea of a rebrand has been front of mind for years but, I had been putting it off as I simply didn’t have the time to manage it’ said Kelly ‘The team at Southport Printing Co. made this process quick and easy – thank you, Southport Printing Co.’.
