The Southport Printing Co. team are getting right into the Christmas spirit this week by volunteering their time to wrap Christmas gifts at Australia Fair’s Gift Wrap Bar to raise much needed funds for Gold Coast Hospital Foundation.

The funds raised will be used to purchase vital equipment for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Gold Coast University Hospital including a Kanmed Baby Bed for premature twins, which will allow these critically unwell babies to lay with their twin during their first few weeks of life.

‘This addition to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit will allow twins to bond throughout their time in the unit which is proven to be beneficial for premature baby’s development and recovery’ said Sarah Coleman of the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation.

Australia Fair’s Gift Wrap Bar is open from 9:30am until Christmas Eve and is located on level one at Australia Fair outside Mr Toys Toyworld. The bar is 100% staffed by volunteers who are wrapping gifts of any size or shape for a gold coin donation. The foundation is still looking for volunteers to fill a number of spots for wrapping, if you would like to help please phone 07 5594 6986.
