It was our absolute pleasure to support the Make-A-Wish Gold Coast Volunteer Branch by printing flyers for the Make-A-Wish raffle at no charge.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Make-A-Wish Gold Coast Volunteer branch were forced to cancel all fundraising events. This was sad news given that they have so many wishes waiting to happen. However, the Make-A-Wish Raffle campaign is underway! There are three major prizes of an Australian travel voucher. Make-A-Wish exists to bring amazing people together to grant inspirational, life-changing wishes for children with a critical illness.
As one of Australia’s Top 20 most trusted charities*, they work in partnership with sick children, their families and medical teams to design and deliver wishes that are as unique as the children who imagine them.
No two wishes are alike – but every wish transforms the lives of those involved, from children themselves to their family, friends, the wish team and wider community.
Make-A-Wish is one of Australia’s most trusted charities and part of the largest wish granting organisation in the world.
- The only registered Australian charity focusing exclusively on wishes
- The organization has been creating inspirational, life-changing wishes in Australia since 1985 – from the very first wish by 16-year-old Shawn to see his favourite footy team in action
- In the past 35 years, thanks to supporters, they have granted 10,000 plus unforgettable wishes all over the country. Make-A-Wish has flown kids to the moon, made unicorns fly and helped Australia’s youngest ever Cricket Captain don the baggy green.
The Gold Coast Branch is run completely by volunteers, and is one of the largest branches with 26 volunteers.
The branch looks after fundraising, events, welcoming wish children to the Gold Coast and going out and meeting amazing wish children and creating their wish.
